Welcome to Northwest Vintage Hydros website.  We are very excited to share our passion with fellow peers, enthusiasts and fans for yet another season.

On our homepage you will find our mission statement, up to date information about event happenings, Northwest Vintage Representatives and other news as it is available.

On the Boats page you will find pictures and facts about the many vintage hydroplanes that will be at events this season.  Please use the form provided on this page if you have a vintage hydro or restoration project that you would like to have added.

Northwest Vintage Hydros full schedule is available on the Schedule page which will be updated as changes occur.  We will also be listing boats that will be attending each event. We hope you can join us for one or more of them.

The Sale section has a link to the Race Boat Garage Sale site where race-related items are posted. 

The Friends section provides many links including APBA, photographers, local hydroplane clubs, etc.

Our Mission

Northwest Vintage Hydros is a group of enthusiasts, including former racers, fans and newbies, who have come together to preserve former race boats (inboards or outboards; hydros, runabouts, flat bottoms  and tunnel boats). We locate, restore, replicate old race boats and run exhibitions with these boats. To run our vintage race boats on established race courses, and in race format, we work in conjunction with the American Power Boat Association (APBA) and local boat racing clubs in Washington (Region 10 and H-1).  We invite and welcome all who enjoy these boats, and the racing heritage they come from, to join us.
